Today, Senator Janet Nguyen announced the endorsement of the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association and OCTax (Orange County Taxpayers Association) PACs. Together these are two of the largest taxpayer protection organizations in California. The Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association is famously named after the founder of Proposition 13, California’s 1978 landmark taxpayer protection law and is considered one of the most recognizable taxpayer organizations in the entire country. Additionally, OCTax is the gold standard of taxpayer protection organizations in Orange County.
The endorsements are just the latest announcements of local grassroots conservative organizations endorsing Senator Janet Nguyen for Supervisor. Just last week Senator Nguyen announced the endorsement of the California Republican Assembly.
"I’m honored to have the support of these two taxpayer protection organizations," said Senator Janet Nguyen. “I’ve spent my entire adult life fighting on behalf of taxpayers, and with looming economic downturn, Orange County taxpayers need an experienced advocate to balance the books and lead. I will be their voice.”
